Below you will find over 20 of the hundreds of studies I have painted this past year. Studies depict my thinking process and experimentation in the painting. You’ll notice some of these are very gestural because they were painted quickly — often trying to catch the light in a moment. I experiment with composition, mood, lighting, color, and design as I’m thinking about the subject matter. Some of these were painted on site depicted by “Plein Air Study” in the description. Please click on the painting you are interested in which will take you to an email you can send to me inquiring about the painting. Purchasing a study not only lets you buy an original oil painting for a fraction of the cost, but you also support me as I continue to work on my art. :)

(And at the very bottom I have included a few Psalm 52:8 series paintings that are still available!)
